Historic and Contemporary Architecture from 1637-2018
A SRJC Interactive Discussion moderated by Mark Parry AIA, CSI, SAH
The course reviews the influences of culture, economics and technologies on the style and planning of residential architecture in America. Each week will begin with a summary of the eras to be reviewed and how it influenced architecture. A review of the prominent styles of residential architecture through images, plans and videos and a significant architect of the era will be followed by an open discussion with participants.
The five week course begins on Tuesday February 13-March 13, 2018 6:00- 8:00 pm Frank P. Doyle Library, room 4245, SRJC campus enter off Elliot Ave after 6:30.
